VLN – Kissling Motorsport wins at the Nürburgring

Kissling Motorsport celebrated its 40th anniversary in style with another victory in the VLN’s TCR class at the Nürburgring Norschleife.
The Opel Astra driven by Volker Strycek and Hannu Luostarinen won the 4-hour 49. Barbarossapreis, eighth round of the German enduro. This was their second victory of the season.
The Astra, decorated with a special 40th anniversary livery, completed 24 laps and finished an impressive 20th overall out of a field of 158. It beat by a margin of only three minutes the SEAT León of Bernd Hömberg-Benedikt Gentgen, while the Mathilda Racing VolkswagenGolf GTI of Andreas Gülden-Benjamin Leuchter completed the podium a further three tenths adrift. The Honda Civic of Markus Oestreich-Moritz Oestreich-Roger Vögeli was classified fourth in the same lap as the top three.
The final round of the VLN series will be the 42. DMV Münsterlandpokal.
