Rob Huff, Stefano Comini, Jean-Karl Vernay, Mat’o Homola and Tom Coronel are the names that will light up the TCR Benelux opening event at Spa-Francorchamps.
Fifteen cars have been entered for this weekend, representing six car brands: Audi, Honda, Opel, Peugeot, SEAT and Volkswagen.
The former World Champion Huff was the last addition; he shares a Leopard Racing VW Golf GTi with Vernay, the current leader of the TCR International Series. Also from the International Series come Homola and Comini; the young Slovak drives the DG Sport Compétition Opel Astra together with Frédéric Caprasse, while the Swiss teams up with Sheldon van der Linde in the Comtoyou Racing Audi RS3 LMS.
While Huff, Vernay, Homola and Comini are due to make a one-off appearance in the series, Coronel will race the full season as co-driver of the reigning champion Stéphane Lémeret in a Honda Civic Type-R run by the Boutsen-Ginion Racing.
The TCR Benelux maintained his format with a 60-minute Qualifying race and four 20-minute Sprint races at each race meeting.
