Top Run Motorsport completed its latest test day at Cremona yesterday, with Luca Rangoni at the wheel of the Subaru STi TCR.
On a sunny day, the Japanese car covered more than 150 kilometres without suffering from any technical issues.
“We are very happy with the work we have done,”said team manager Renato Russo. “The changes we made to the front axle following last week’s test have proved to be effective. The understeer problems have been solved and driveability has improved significantly. We are very grateful to Luca Rangoni who has fully committed himself to the task of helping the team in developing the car. Without his experience and dedication it would have taken much more time to get to this point. We think that we have now reached the stage where we can entrust the Subaru to the teams that will run it during the season.”
Top Run has planned the first test with one of its customer teams by the middle of next week.
