Tom Coronel is one of the most experienced and respected Touring Car drivers. In a career that spanned more than twenty years the Dutchman amassed a great deal of experience and brilliant results in any possible category of car racing, from single seaters to endurance and does not disdain the occasional participation in rallies and raids.
As a great Touring Car expert, Coronel loves to be informed about the different series and was intrigued by the launch of the new TC3 concept.

“I really think there is space for a series like TC3,”he said. “It seems like a great place for drivers to start in Touring Cars. There needs to be a step up in Touring Cars – at the moment, the top step is very high because the WTCC is all about big brands and, for amateurs, fighting against them is not easy. The WTCC grew over about 15 years after starting as the ETCC and, for me, it’s very easy to say that TC3 has the potential for doing the same.”
