Target Competition in TC3 International Series

Target Competition was the first team to confirm its participation in the newly launched TC3 International Series.
Team manager Markus Gummerer explains why: “When I first heard about TC3, I thought it was a good opportunity to compete in international motorsport at a high level, with good cars and at not a very high budget. We will take part with the SEAT León Eurocup cars and we will enter two or three cars in the TC3 International Series.”

Considering your experience with the car, you have good chances to be competitive.
“Absolutely! We already have five cars in the SEAT Eurocup, so we know the machine and it is very competitive. We have to look for some good drivers to be at the front – we already have one that is arranged and we have some others that want to drive and only need to find the budget.”

Do you plan to extend the participation to TC3 National or Regional Series?
“At the moment we have no such plans, since we will be running cars in the SEAT Eurocup again in 2015. After that, we will see. At the moment, I think the SEAT León is the best car for the TC3 championship as the mechanics already know the it well. SEAT Sport has been very helpful and very supportive in our decision to enter the TC3 series, we are one of the biggest teams in the Eurocup and they know us very well.”
