Pepe Oriola (fastest): “We did a few changes in the set-up and they worked well, so we are happy, also because I did not have new tyres, only some fresher ones with respect to this morning.”
Stefano Comini (second fastest): “This time I can say it seems all is going well. We’ll see in qualifying if the impression is correct, but the feeling is definitely positive, much better than this morning.”
Mikhail Grachev (third fastest): “It’s much better than in previous events for a free practice, I am happy. We still have some areas to improve, as we have too much understeer in the middle of the corners and cannot carry much cornering speed.”
Sergey Afanasiev: (fifth fastest): “It’s difficult to say, we keep moving on step by step, with different set-up changes in each of the three cars. We’ll see; we know we should be ok on this track, but also that the VW cars will be very competitive.”
Petr Fulín (seventh fastest): “A good performance, for sure, but I was on the limit of the car’s performance, don’t know how much room for improvement we still have. We changed the turbo after boost pressure problems, and now it is better, although not perfect. We have some understeer and traction issues, but to a certain degree, this is endemic to this track and you have to accept it.”
