Kevin Gleason (fastest): “It’s my first time at Spa and it’s such an incredible circuit, I love it! I am still learning it but enjoying very much the experience. The car feels good, we changed a couple of things after free practice 1 and there is a big difference.”
Dušan Borković (third fastest): “I am quite happy with the performance, but after what happened in Estoril, I am not doing any prediction. The car is quite balanced and we had a good pace even with old tyres on. The important thing for me here is to score heavy points, and this means doing a good qualifying tomorrow. It won’t be easy on such a long and tricky track, and staying focus will be key.”
Jean-Karl Vernay (fifth fastest): “I am happy. We continue progressing and working. At every outing, we learn something about the car and gain a few hundredths. We were on old tyres and I think it is important to keep fresh tyres for qualifying and the races. Maybe not as much as at Estoril, but it will be important.”
Grégory Guilvert (17th fastest): “Two positive sessions, which allowed us to continue the development work. The car is well balanced and reliable, and that’s very positive. Clearly, we have a power deficit with regard to the competitors, and it shows on the straights, in the hairpin and in re-acceleration. In that respect, Spa is probably the worst circuit to show the potential of the car…”
