Pepe Oriola (fastest): “I am happy, it was a good session and I had a perfect feeling with the car. I like a lot the new gearbox, which I did not have much time to test at Valencia. We still have work to do but it is a good start.”
Gianni Morbidelli (2nd fastest): “I’m pretty satisfied, we could do some basic work, as running in the brakes. I am happy with the handling of the car and with the track, I thought the grip was going to be much worse.”
Davit Kajaia (7th fastest): “I could do only one real fast lap, which wasn’t too bad, but we still have a lot of work to do. We had much understeering and I still have to learn the track.”
Stefano Comini (13th fastest): “There is still a lot of work to do on the car, it is only the start. The car feels ok, but we are way too slow on the straights.”
Michela Cerruti (16th fastests): “It was a short session, also because of the red flag, and we couldn’t gather many data. I had problems with the brakes, on top.”
Luigi Ferrara (14th fastest): “It was good to be able to do many laps and collect very useful data. It’s my first time here and with a front-wheel drive car, so it’s important to be on the track as long as possible. Clearly, we have a lot of margin for improvement with regard to set-up but the first feeling is good.”
