Once again Aleksey Dudukalo emerged as the most competitive of the Touring class during the third race meeting of the Russian Circuit Racing Series that took place last weekend at Sochi Autodrom.
The Lukoil Racing driver and his SEAT León car in TCR specs dominated the first race on Saturday ahead of Vitaly Larionov’s BMW 320si Super 2000. Dudukalo, who took part in the TCR International Series races as well, finished second to his own teammate Roman Golikov in the second race.
After the races in Sochi, Dudukalo leads the Touring class with a margin of 40 points ahead of Larionov, while Golikov is third, a further seven points adrift.
The other local driver who played the guest star in the TCR International Series, Ildar Rakhmatullin, claimed one victory and a third place in the Touring Light class at the wheel of his Renault Twingo. These results helped Rakhmatullin to take the lead in the classification with a margin of 11 points ahead of Andrey Maslennikov.
