TCR, the newly created Touring Car category, continues to expand its boundaries as it heads towards its inaugural season.
The promoter of the Italian automobile championships, ACI Sport, has announced that a TCR class will run as a promotional category for 2015 within the well-established Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance (CITE), alongsidethe two existing Divisions: Super Production and Super 2000 categories.
The CITE Sporting Regulations will remain unchanged, with two races per event of 48 minutes plus one lap each, including a mandatory pit stop.
The 2015 CITE calendar will comprise of seven race meetings that will be announced in due course.
